Engagement Standards

The standards that govern a private engagement with Barone Media Group — how work is scoped, how the record is handled, how confidentiality is protected, and how AI-assisted production is kept under human approval.

How engagements are scoped

Private, and scoped one to one.

Every engagement is scoped directly with the principal — never off a menu and with no public pricing. Scope, deliverables, confidentiality level, and the intended recipient are agreed in advance and recorded.

Client confidentiality

Private work stays private.

Private engagements are not named or detailed on the public site without the client's consent. Where private work is referenced at all, it is described generically by design. Client materials, identities, and questions are held in confidence.

Evidence standard

Records in, structured decision-support out.

Every factual claim is traced to a retained primary source with a retrieval date and an evidence label. Open source pulls are disclosed, with a materiality statement for each — whether the gap could alter the conclusion or merely limits completeness. Nothing is labeled final if a material open pull could change it.

We report what the public record shows. We do not assert motive, intent, or influence.

AI-assisted production

AI-assisted, human-approved.

Barone Media Group uses AI-native production systems to organize records, draft, and accelerate analysis. Every deliverable is reviewed and approved by a human before it is issued. Facts are verified against sources regardless of how a draft was produced; the AI speeds the work, it does not decide the conclusion or sign off on accuracy.

No advice

Decision-support, not professional advice.

Engagement deliverables are records-based decision-support. They are not legal, investment, appraisal, tax, lobbying, or election advice, and should not be relied on as such. Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and for obtaining licensed professional advice where required.
