Conflicts & Independence

The public record we publish is decided on the evidence, not on who is paying for private work. A private engagement does not buy favorable public coverage, suppression of an unfavorable record, or a change to a published conclusion.

Editorial decisions about what the public site publishes are made independently of the commercial pipeline. Where a private client is also a subject of the public record, the public treatment is governed by the same evidence standard applied to everyone else.

The public site proves the record. Private engagements interpret the consequence for the client's seat. Private work is scoped one to one and is never named or detailed on the public site without the client's consent.

The same sourcing discipline, evidence labels, and no-motive standard apply to both. What differs is depth, confidentiality, and who the analysis is prepared for — never the facts.

Where the group, its founder, or an affiliate holds a material interest in a subject of a public brief — financial, advisory, or personal — that interest is disclosed in the relevant material. Undisclosed conflicts are treated as a correctable error.

The group does not accept payment to originate, shape, or withhold a specific public finding, and does not present sponsored or paid material as independent record.

Material errors are corrected in public, and any package a recipient holds is superseded by a corrected version rather than left silently outdated. Corrections and supersession follow a documented standard.
