Correct the public record visibly.

If BARONE publishes a material factual error, the correction will identify what changed, when it changed, and the evidence supporting the correction.

The standard

  • Material factual errors are corrected in the affected page and recorded here.
  • Ordinary copy edits and new information are not mislabeled as corrections.
  • Source disagreements are reviewed against the underlying record before any change.
  • Intelligence Desk and Civic Bitcoin maintain their own product-specific methods and correction records.
